Musicishare was founded on my love for music.

Simply put, we are a free resource for artists to gain more exposure. We promote our website as a resource for free legal mp3 downloads.

It is the belief of musicishare.com that the whole philosophy of illegal music downloads is a reaction to the stranglehold that the major labels have held for many years. Fans of artists have purchased less than inferior albums from their favorite artists just to get one or two favorite songs.

The age of digital music distribution has begun to level the playing field and has given new and undiscovered artists an opportunity to gain some exposure. You no longer need a large marketing budget from a label to become a success.

Musicishare.com is just another platform for artists to leverage for more exposure.

Artists are not required to provide free downloads. However it should be noted that all mp3 uploads are in a public directory and are not gauranteed to be "private". We simply do not provide a download link for the specified track.

We encourage artists to offer listeners who visit our website, at least a sample of their music as that is most likely their reason for visiting the website.

Our recent improvements have allowed artists to connect other music platforms like SoundCloud and Last.FM. If you use Tumblr, and or YouTube, we allow you to integrate videos from these platforms to your profile. Therefore artists can showcase their own music without uploading anything to Musicishare.com.
