Enjoy Proceed and Make Hay, featured download of the new release Sanctified. ACL and Zojak World Wide are please to announce the worldwide digital release of Peter Culture's Sanctified, a melodic roots album featuring ACL's signature formula of tight production and Peter Culture's powerful vocals. Coming out of the Gadd 59 studio and featuring a crucial selection of original vocal, instrumental and dub tracks in conscious roots style, Sanctified is a wide ranging roots reggae album and is now available on Itunes and fine e-tailers worldwide. "Spread Jah Love (Sanctified Anthem)" a soothing yet convincingly edgy song of faith and love demonstrates Peter Culture's effortless and energetic roots vibe. "Most High Vibration" uses a driving melody, smooth harmonies and selective percussion to maintain the roots vibrations. Peter Culture lets the dub do the talking on "Upright Dub, Part 2", a dubwise riddim track taken from "Come Make We Live Upright", a thoughtful commentary on "living in a crazy world where you can find no peace of mind and trouble seems to be all around you." Heavy bass is complemented by Peter Culture's handling of the heavy issues on the emotional "One Way". Deejays will also enjoy the fact that the instrumental track for "One Way" is also included, called "One Way Dub, Part 3". Despite the seriousness of the themes, Sanctified is blessed with a sense of positive movement, reflected on "Come We Proceed" in which he speaks to the need to "try to achieve some good under the sun" while riding a light horn-driven melody. "Don't Cry" is a sweet and inspirational song for those who are feeling the pressure and "Make Hay" is a bluesy reminder about doing what is important and right for ourselves as well as the people around us. To complete the album, "Willie Lynch" is a smart take on dealing with life's challenges as a youth today. Emphasizing the importance of the music as much as the lyrics, "Lynch Dub, Part 2" is also an important part of the listening experience. From dub to instrumental tracks to smart and edgy takes on life, Peter Culture makes it easier to get through the tough times while making the good times even better. That's good reggae music. That's Sanctified.
